Claire Rissman-Sherr is a writer and editor whose work has appeared on LetSimonDecide.com and in Brilliant Magazine, Austin Monthly, and Penguin’s Students’ Guide to Colleges. She also teaches a creative writing class to lower-income elementary school students and edits a published anthology of their poetry and fiction. 

Claire currently serves as the Senior Editor for Ayax Systems and its product, LetSimonDecide.com, a proprietary online decision-making tool and social network.  She is responsible for writing original articles and content, as well as editing all site-related content.  Prior to joining Ayax Systems, Claire was the Assistant Editor at Brilliant Magazine, a luxury lifestyle magazine based in Austin, Texas. 

Claire graduated from Northwestern University with a BA in Communication Studies, with a concentration in English Literature and Creative Writing. She is currently a Master of Fine Arts candidate at Bennington College, where she studies nonfiction writing. When she is not writing, editing, teaching, or tutoring, she enjoys practicing yoga, photographing her dogs, and watching more reality television than she would care to admit.
